F&F Racing - Driver: Frankie Guerrini, III

Bio

    Frankie started his racing career in 2000 at the age of 6 in Go Karts. He raced at Dixon and Davis, California, where he won races and earned his first Championship.




    2003 Frankie moved on to Quarter Midgets, where he raced until 2007. Setting fast times, track records and countless top 5 finishes and main event wins along the way.



    
2008 Frankie decided to move to the big tracks, racing mini-cups on 1/4 mile paved ovals. Frankie raced in this series for one year, when he decided that the mini-cups just didn’t have enough power and speed, and wanted to try racing on dirt.


       
    2009 Frankie went back to Go Karts and kept in racing shape at Infineon Raceway.
  


  
      2010 Came the season where Frankie would try dirt oval racing. Racing the first time on dirt, in the 600 mini sprint winged open wheel 3/4 restrictor class, Frankie raced in the 16 race point’s series at Delta Speedway. He won 3 races had several 2nd and 3rd place finishes, and all top 5 finishes throughout the season. Frankie finished in 2nd place in the points series, capturing the ”Rookie of the Year” honors. At the end of the season Frankie decided to head down South and give a new track a try in the winged Stock class, without restrictor plates. Frankie came in 3rd out of 17 cars in qualifying, 2nd in his heat race, and 2nd in the Main Event.

n 2011, Frankie was chosen to be the recipient of “2010 Rising Star Award” by the Motorsports Press Association for Northern California. He received his award at the MSPA Banquet in March, 2011. Frankie decided to try the non-wing stock class for 2011. He won the first race of the season, and continued on to win 2 races, many 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Frankie finished in 4th place in the points series, capturing the ”Rookie of the Year” honors. 2011 was the closest points race amongst the top 4 racers in the history of Delta Speedway in non-wing. It was a successful racing season and he is ready to move on to full midgets and sprint cars. In October 2011, Frankie tested in the F&F Racing
Stealth Gaerte Midget. It was a successful test, as he was very comfortable and up to speed right away.
 


    
    2012 Frankie will be racing the F&F Racing Dirt Midget in BCRA and USAC events. F&F Racing has recently purchased a Beast Pavement Car for Frankie to race this year as well. He also has opportunities to race in non-wing sprint cars. This will be a big year for Frankie’s racing career to propel him forward to achieving his goal of being a professional race car driver.
Frankie is very serious about his racing, his long term goals are to become a professional race car driver in either the Indy Car Racing Series or NASCAR.
